Youth Work Ireland Week 2021

The theme for this year’s Youth Work Ireland Week is Youth Work Outdoors with a key focus on young people enjoying the outdoors in a safe manner.

‘We’ve all been spending a lot of time indoors, on screens and interacting with each over online due to COVID-19, so once it’s safe to do so, we are looking to get outside’ said a spokesperson from Youth Work Ireland.

‘Throughout the Youth Work Ireland Week we aim to get back out into nature and reconnect with each other in a safe way, which is hugely important for young people’s sense of connectedness and physical/mental health,’ said the spokesperson.
