Ranks Flour Mills, for generations a part of the lives of Limerick people, returned to Treaty City recently, albeit for a day, as representatives from the famed baking institution gave a demonstration of the ‘perfect loaf’ to trainees at Limerick Youth Service.
Co. Limerick is 70 junior leaders stronger as young people from across the county who completed a leadership training programme with Limerick Youth Service received their Certificates of Achievement recently.
The young people took part in Involvement Training for Young People, an interactive programme designed by Youth Scotland and delivered by Limerick Youth Service.

Limerick Youth Service is delighted to announce that the new Minister for Children & Youth Affairs, Charlie Flanagan, TD, will formally open our new Rathkeale Youth Space, Abbey Court, on Thursday, May 15th at 4pm.
Located at what was formerly the Rathkeale Sports Complex, this new dedicated Youth Space is a welcome addition to the young people of Rathkeale and indeed the wider community.
Sixth class students in Co. Limerick got a taste of second level over the recent Easter holidays as they participated in ‘Moving On’ Transition Programmes that were in Hazelwood College, Dromcollogher & Scoil Mhuire & Ide, Newcastlewest respectively.
