This October Eurodesk, the Europe-wide information network for young people, will run its Time To Move campaign which promotes the studying, volunteering and employment opportunities available to young people across the continent.
There were joyous and emotional scenes at Limerick Youth Service (LYS) this past week as students received their Leaving Cert Applied (LCA) results.
The students, who have been studying their LCA at LYS’ Community Training Centre, saw their hard work rewarded with excellent results that were among the highest in the country.
Lava Javas Youth Café will hold a special Green Ribbon themed evening to mark Mental Health Awareness Month on Friday next, May 25th (5:30pm).
The event will feature a special mental health themed fashion show, music, a raffle and a self-care station with tips & information on how to look after your mental wellbeing.
Bath Buns, French Sticks, London Bloomers, sour dough and spelt bread were some of the many healthy and tasty treats produced by young people at Limerick Youth Service (LYS) as part of the recent National Bread Week.
The young people, who are trainees with LYS’s Bakery Skills Project, spent the week baking bread and creating some of their own unique designs.
