With the festive period fast approaching and thoughts turning to gifts, a trip to the annual Limerick Youth Service Christmas Fair on Thursday, December 13th 10am-2pm may be just what you need!

The Christmas Fair, which takes place at the LYS’ Community Training Centre, is one of the most popular events in the calendar and will give the Limerick public the opportunity to experience a Christmas Fair- LYS style!

Festive goods ranging from designer clothes, shoes, books, bric-a-brac, paintings, and ornaments will be on offer in addition to kennels, birdhouses and flower baskets that are made by leaners at LYS.

Patrons will also have the opportunity to sample some of the festive cuisines from LYS’ award-winning bakery team that will include homemade mince pies, puddings and Christmas Cakes.

A spokesperson from LYS also confirmed that a certain man from the North Pole will make an appearance to see who has been naughty or nice!

LYS’ Community Training Centre is located at Lr. Glentworth St, Limerick and is supported by the Limerick & Clare Education & Training Board.

LYS delivers a variety of educational and training courses and programmes for young people (16-21yrs) at our Community Training Centre.

This provision is supported by Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board and co-funded by the Irish Government and the European Social Fund as part of the ESF Programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning 2014 – 2020.
