Cruinnú na nÓg with Limerick Youth Service

Young people (13-18yrs) who would like to get an insight into the art of filmmaking are invited to take part in a free workshops with Limerick Youth Service and the Fresh Film Festival on Saturday, June 15th

Limerick Youth Service is teaming up with Green Film Makers and the Fresh Film Festival and challenging young people to ‘make a movie in a day’ on Saturday, June 15th.

Run as part of the nationwide Cruinniú na nÓg programme, the movie challenge will take place at four locations across Limerick City and County and is an ideal opportunity for teenagers who would like learn more about filmmaking.

Led by local, professional filmmakers, the workshops will introduce teenagers to different features of the film industry such as camera skills and scene crafting.

The four workshops are free and will be held at:

  • Cappamore: Community Centre, Doon Rd (11am-3pm)
  • Limerick City: Lr. Glentworth St, Limerick (11am-3pm)
  • Newcastlewest: c/o Domain Youth Club, Newcastlewest (11am-3pm)
  • Kilfinane: Scoil Pól, Kilfinane (11am – 3pm)
