Lava Java's Youth Café is proud to be supported by the AIB Better Ireland Awards
For Young people aged 14+
The youth cafe is an alcohol and drug free space which is non labelled and encompassing of all young people in limerick.
It aims to become a youth operated adult mentored project that provides young people with opportunities and events that allow them to display their creativity and improve their ability to deal with life experiences. (ie. gigs/art exhibitions etc) Become part of the Young persons Operational Committee - this will give you the chance to be involved the experience of operational running of the cafe services with adult mentoring. Evening openings facilitate sessions for - counselling,money advice, health based programmes, jobs club etc. The Café is open to all teenagers from Limerick city & county.
