Recognised as a leading provider of a variety of quality programmes for the young people of Limerick City and County, the organisation works in partnership with a number of national and regional organisations including Youth Work Ireland, FÁS, the Health Service Executive, the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform, Limerick City and County VEC’s and the Department of Education and Science, along with many voluntary and community groups. Supporting over 40 volunteer-led youth clubs, two Youth Cafes, ten community–based youth projects, a Youth Information Service, a Residential and Outdoor Activities Centre and providing vocational training and education programmes for early school leavers, Limerick Youth Service works with over 3000 young people at any one time.
